The region of Liguria is a coastal strip which extends in the mountains of the inner land on 30km approximately.
It can be distinguished in two parts : Riviera di Ponente, directed towards the east which extends from France to Genoa ; and Riviera di Levanto on the another part of Genoa to Tuscany.
The first part has beaches, whereas the second counts many small ports nested in splits on a very cut outed coast.
