Tuscany
Tuscany is region of Italy located in the west of the country, surrounded by Latium, Umbria, Emilie-Romagna, Liguria, and bordered by the Tyrrhenian Sea.
In addition to Florence, its capital; Siena, Pisa, the island of Elba are also in Tuscany.
The main river is Arno. Whereas the Tiber takes its source there.
Historically, the area corresponds at the ancient Etruria of the Etruscans, civilization precursors of the Romans in Italy, they were among the first kings of Rome.
Among the other historical facts, the importance of the communes of the Middle Ages, and especially the Italian (and European) Renaissance which appeared in Florence.
The agricultural productions most famous are the wines of Chianti and Silk (the spumante), thus that olive oil.
